The security-conscious Estate Agent
Safe as houses with Farrell
Heyworth
Determined to offer the best possible service
to people on the move, Farrell Heyworth has turned its attention
towards customers’ security. The independent, family owned
estate agent has issued managers, sales negotiators and viewers who
work at its thirty plus branches across the North West with photo
ID cards to reassure customers of their identity when they visit
their homes.
Director, Chris Heyworth, says that as far as
he is aware Farrell Heyworth is the first estate agent in the
region to introduce such a measure. “People can easily feel
vulnerable when they put a property on the market as it means
opening up their home to strangers”, he explains. “Our
responsibility towards our customers includes taking a security
conscious approach on their behalf and ID cards are a logical step
forward. You wouldn't let someone in to read the gas meter
without checking to see who they were first – why should we expect
people to be any less cautious just because their home is for
sale?”
Still run by the directors who launched the company in 1991,
Farrell Heyworth has grown in size and reputation to offer a
complete, professional service for anyone looking to buy, sell, let
or rent property, and has its own, in-house legal and independent
mortgage services on board. Recent service innovations
include a trailblazing new website with a news service that is
becoming known as an essential source of up to the minute local
property and housing market information.
