Farrell Heworth's Sat Nav property marketing app
Farrell Heyworth believe they have the easiest, most
up-to-date, smart-phone property-promotion process on the market,
with three mobile property-marketing tools.
When you are out and about and find a home for sale that you
absolutely love, what is the first thing you do?
Most people write down the Agent’s number, and later head home.
Once home they search for the property on Rightmove. On Monday they will call the
agent to get property details. It can be a long time between seeing
the property and doing something about it. Farrell Heyworth, an
innovative North-West Estate Agent, has a state of the art solution
to reduce this delay.
Farrell Heyworth have released an app that allows
someone with a smart phone to identify properties just by pointing
the phone’s camera at the property. The app will also highlight
properties up to three miles away, and give Sat Nav directions to
each property. Further, the app can save and share properties.
Imagine going for a walk and seeing a great house for sale.
Using a smart phone the full property details can quickly be
accessed and an appointment booked. By holding up the smart phone
and slowly turning round, all the nearby properties for sale/rent
will also move onto the screen as the mobile phone points in the
direction of each house.
A lot of property hunters spend time on RightMove and then go
for a drive to look at each interesting house. Unfortunately most
property portals only provide the approximate location of each
house, based on the property postcode. It can be difficult to plan
the best route when you are not sure exactly where each property
is.
The Farrell Heyworth app knows the exact
location of every property, meaning the app’s map search can be
used to find properties, and with a few clicks the phone acts as a
Sat-Nav providing directions to each property. Farrell Heyworth are
the first Estate agent in the world to do this.
There are safety benefits too. Looking away from the road for
one second when driving at 30 mph “blinds” the driver for 13
meters. The app’s SatNav uses the camera video, overlaying the
driving instructions. As the driver can see the road on the smart
phone, they effectively never take their eyes off the road, meaning
a safer journey to the property.
Farrell Heyworth have also added QR codes on to all their window
card displays, meaning a smart phone can be used to scan the code
and immediately download the full brochure details, and instantly
book a property viewing. Farrell Heyworth are the first in the
North West to promote properties in this innovative way.
Farrell Heyworth believe these three innovations mean they have
created the easiest, most up-to-date, smart-phone
property-promotion process on the market.
Prospective tenant Simon Damp said “I knew vaguely where in
town I wanted to live. I opened ‘Wikitude’ on my iPhone and
launched the Farrell Heyworth World. I then held up my iPhone and
slowly spun around. It was great as I could see all properties for
rent near by. I quickly worked out which ones were interesting, and
had a stroll. There was one I loved, so I clicked on my phone and
booked a viewing. Apparently the property had only been on the
market for an hour.”
Property buyer Sam Mulholland said, “My husband and I
had gone out for dinner. It was late evening and on our stroll down
the high street we passed a Farrell Heyworth office. Unfortunately
the office was shut, but we did notice the QR Code. There was a
beautiful semi for sale. We placed our smart phone near the window
and instantly had all of the details we were looking for. Just a
fantastic service.”
John Shellcross, Agency Director said, “Farrell Heyworth
strive to be one step ahead of our competitors. These three new
services mean you do not have to be in front of a computer or in a
branch to instantly access property details.”
“Farrell Heyworth are excited to release this new state of
the art property app., targeted at the smart phone generation. We
have thousands of properties for rent and sale all year round, so
with so many people driving past each property and walking past
each branch every day and night, it provides a great way to provide
property details to each passer by quickly, and a safe way to check
out properties while on the go.“
Paul Morgan, ICT Director said, “There really are no other
companies quite like Farrell Heyworth when it comes to pushing the
industry. We are very proud of our ground breaking Sat-Nav
innovation and we think we are leading the way in property
marketing with innovative use of popular social media
tools.”
To get this app, download “wikitude” and add the Farrell
Heyworth World. The app can be found for free in the Android
