Each week I’ll be profiling one of our branches and the gorgeous areas of the North West they serve. This week it’s the turn of Carnforth branch.
Carnforth town itself is just the tip of the iceberg when considering the area that the Farrell Heyworth Carnforth branch covers. Stretching from Bolton Le Sands to Milnthorpe and taking in the beautiful towns and villages within the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This small town is at the heart of stunning rural landscape, peppered with desirable villages, hamlets and an abundance of popular and beautiful coastal, rural and canal side walks.
Fancy a stroll around a nationally renowned RSPB nature reserve? Leighton Moss, home of Autumnwatch 2014, is just on the doorstep. If you’re feeling cultured Leighton Hall, the ancestral home of local furniture makers hosts a full season of outdoor events during the summer months. Greenlands Farm Village caters for family members young and old, with a soft play area, open farm, shops and restaurant. Of course, no description of Carnforth’s delights would be complete without mentioning Carnforth Station. Setting for some of the most iconic scenes in David Lean’s much loved 1945 film Brief Encounter.
Carnforth branch is perfectly adapted for the area it serves. The needs of the population of Carnforth’s charming mix of urban and rural locations, is more than matched by the expert staff in branch. Branch manager Peter Dowbiggin told me that he thinks Carnforth branch offers something just a little bit special:
“We aren’t shy to use any of the latest technology to help market our customer’s properties or to enable new ways to get in touch, at the same time priding ourselves on offering the very best personal customer service.”
Peter showed me some of the varied and interesting properties on offer in the area,
“It’s not enough for an agency to be able to look at comparable prices in this area. You need to know the area well and the people who live here and that’s what our clients can come to expect. You’ll always find a personal greeting here in branch and you’ll always know that whatever property you’re selling you are important to us. Our clients aren’t numbers, they’re people.” Who in the majority of cases we are very pleased to say become friends.
Carnforth might look small, but the town is only the tip of the iceberg and the same can be said for Carnforth branch.
